Jack Coutu

Jack Coutu, artist and teacher, was born in Farnham, Surrey in 1924. He studied at Farnham School of Art before attending the Royal College of Art and Central School of Art (1951-54). Coutu taught printmaking at Central School and later at Farnham, West Surrey College of Art and Design. He became a member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and active in the Printmakers Council. His work is held in many important collections including the V&A and the Government Art Collection.
